Maido Pictures

I AM FINALLY A FREE WOMAN! I recently completed my final paper for my degree and I am now officially a graduate! :) Hehe! I am still at crossroads thinking about my masters and my future job prospect but I am sure that things will clear up in time!

I recently attend Anime Hanabi Festival (AHF) in Berjaya Times Square. Its a rather small scale event but there are still the fair share of cosplayers. I premiered my maido costume for the first time there. Its lovely! There are so many compliments and I simply feel sometimes, I can't give up cosplaying. I got a lot of support from all my loved ones (Minus my family members who doesn't know that I cosplay!) and all my friends and I must say, I become a completely different person when I am in a costume! I love taking photographs, talking to the crowd there, just hanging out with people who have the same interest as I do! I will just go with the flow for now :)

Anyway, I am currently playing Tekken 6 (my latest addiction!) and its so much fun! The community here (well, basically most of the Street Fighter 4 gang) is so much bigger compared to Penang's gaming community! However, I am loving my life here! Its definitely more happening and I guess I am just young at heart and I want to experience more new stuff. Just got a call from Tako Nicky-chan to go out clubbing! Goodness gracious! I have not stepped into a single club since I came here! Oh my god! I am feeling like such a loser now... *sobs at the corner*

I am just going to post some lovely maid pictures for all of you to see. Credits to:

Crossroads

Being the boring person who only uses the Internet to regularly surf Facebook or check my email, I often stumble upon personality tests and quizzes. Most of the time, they are bullshit. I mean, seriously, how stupid can those quiz makers get if they start giving you options like these:

Question: Do you like dating?

a. No
b. NO!
c. Maybe
d. Yeah...I guess
e. YES
f. Hell, NO!
g. Anything goes

WTH are those quizzes for? Its just weird. You get a question with retarded multiple choice answers. That, to me, is just plain stupid. I guess I should be the stupid one who actually takes those kind of quizzes. Haha!

This is, however, one quiz which really interests me:

http://apps.facebook.com/psyc_person/index.php

Its another personality test. Yeah. Yawn. Somehow, this quiz seems to be able to get my personality correct. Take a look!

Dear Quist Chan Yu Yuin, below are your PSYCHOLOGY PERSONALITY test result:

You love the crowd... a party animal! Too many “friends”, you can’t easily tell which among them is real and not...

You’re usually expressive... Open about your emotions and most of the time willing to talk about it.

You love deeply... you may flirt along and people think you’re a playboy/playgirl but the truth is: your heart belongs to only one.

You have so many ideas in mind... You’re creative and aggressive! If you want something, you’ll do anything to get it!

You’re an ideal boyfriend/girlfriend... You don’t care if your partner doesn’t really love you as long as you love him/her. You give your all...

You’re undoubtedly good-natured! Most of the time, people are confident to approach you because they know you will consider them.

You love actions... with the hero-like taste! You focus on your strengths and use them to protect persons/things that are important to you.

What did I tell you? So true right? Haha!

Anyway, thats just something random.

I am actually hitting a cross road at the moment. Most of you all should know I am about to graduate. This is my final semester and I am about to sit for my final paper at the mid of this month. What would one do after they graduate? Most of them will just tell me to sit at home and laze around for a couple of months before actually finding a job. My parents, however, desire for me to continue studying.

I don't mind doing my Masters. Seriously, I don't! In fact I appreciate the fact that I am given the chance to study when most people don't. The only thing is that my dad doesn't really understand what I want. I am often dictated on what HE thinks is best for me and what he wants me to do. For example, during dinner today, I told him that I wanted to continue studying my MBA. He agrees with me before he started dictating that I should go back to Penang to study my Masters and that I should work and study my Masters part-time. I don't think I can handle the stress and I told him that. Most of my friends who study their Masters and work part time tend to regret it so I just relayed what they said to my dad.

"DO YOUR FRIENDS KNOW THE MARKET BETTER THAN ME? NOW YOU ARE JUST GOING TO TRUST YOUR FRIENDS?! GO AHEAD THEN!"

Thats the kind of yelling and screaming I get from my dad.

Which is exactly why I am just feeling so frustrated at the moment. Breathe in breathe out. Calm down, Yuin. Its going to be alright.

At the moment, I am just going to relax, read my book and not think about my future. Sigh. I hate being an adult..

A well deserved break

Phew! Its been almost a month since I last blogged. Been really busy doing my assignments. I am having a study break at the moment so I am back in Penang and soon going back to SP just to take a break and hopefully study!

Its been a hectic past few weeks. A lot of flaming and backstabbing by an idiotic person (Whom I will probably code name as A here to protect his privacy). You sure live up to your standards of "Siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas!" (Who ate the chili would feel that its spicy - Direct translation). I am so tempted to post up all the screenshots of his posts up here but I guess I will just refrain myself from doing so unless he provokes me. Look here A, you can call me names and try to flame me but my friends believe in who I am. Your efforts are meaningless so please use your time for something more beneficial other than stalking other people's Facebook to flame them. Its sweet knowing you care and remember me so much that you even use me as your hobby. You know what, Mr. A? Too bad I won't sink to your level of insulting or name calling. Thanks for the laugh though! It was great while it lasted! :)

Anyway, on a different note, I actually finished my assignment ONE DAY EARLIER than due date! That is probably a legendary FIRST! I NEVER finish up an assignment, be it a group or individual assignment, earlier than the dateline. I would always finish it ON THE DAY OF SUBMISSION instead of EARLIER which makes this a FIRST! Woohoo! I should probably keep up this "not so last minute attitude" for my Masters. All my old friends (especially my two kids!) were probably shocked to know this fact. Haha!

I am actually wrecking my brain thinking of the coming ACGC in KLCC on the 19th to 21st of November. So many things to do and so little time! Justin and I will be part of the organizing team together with some of our best buddies. I sure hope that everything goes well! Its going to be so much fun if everything goes as planned! Of course there may be setbacks like how the event is not promoted to its extreme but that is out of my jurisdiction and duty. No matter how much I would love to get hot promotional girls handing out flyers and probably use a helicopter to fly around with a huge banner hanging on it to promote the event, I can't. Sigh. Pray hard that it would go well and wish me luck, k?

On a different note, I finally bought the book I have been searching for the past 8 months. Its titled "The Fire Kimono" by Laura Joh Rowland. I have been following the series since I was first introduced to the book by Bassem and the series is definitely satisfying! Also for the first time, I didn't even unwarp the book until now! I have been too busy with my assignments and I am proud to say I managed to resist temptation! Now that I finally handed in my assignments, I can probably get down to the process of unwrapping the long awaited book. The hard cover was actually out 8 months ago but it costs about RM100. For me, its not worth it since I know the paperback version would be out a few months later and it will probably cost about half the price. True enough, after 8 months of gruesome waiting, it finally came out for RM54.90. When I saw the book in MPH One Utama, my first instinct was to kill off whoever who even so much as go near the book, run to the counter and throw my purse at them. What to do? Its been quite long since I last bought books since I need recommendations before I actually purchase them. I mean, there are so many books in the market. How would I know the book I buy would be good? For this, I will trust my dearest Siew Lee to give me the perfect recommendation. She has the best taste in books! Muaks girl!

At the moment, I am thinking of indulging myself after getting my paycheck from ACGC. I read in some reviews about great desert bars in KL but I never actually got the chance to go there myself! I don't even go out often in KL! I feel like a lamer...*cries* In Penang, you would never see me in the hostel except for my sleeping time. However, its totally different in KL. I rarely go out since my housemates prefer to stay at home and I only go out if friends asked me out. Either that or I really need to buy something then only I would have the freaking initiative to lift my butt off the couch/bed/chair and dress up to go out. Otherwise, you would find me 80% of the time at home. Haha!

I am so glad I could finally get myself to blog again. I know its a pretty boring post but seriously, nothing that interesting is happening in my life. Exams are coming, events are coming, everything is coming but they have yet to end. Till the next post, muaks and hugs! :)
