Just got back from KL and damn am I tired! I got back to Penang on Saturday morning (20.06.2009) at 2am and on that day itself at 2pm, I need to go over to Queensbay Mall for a Street Fighter 4 tournament. Kyah! The KL trip was pretty nice! I met a lot of new friends. Credits to Desmond for being willing to fetch me all the way to KL (Actually, he wanted to go as well! Hehe!) and also for bringing me around KL to "makan". We ended up eating in the sucky Hong Kong Wong Kok in Sunway Pyramid (People! DON'T EAT HERE! Botak and I got food poisoning because of their food!) in our failed attempt to search for good "Bak Kut Teh" in Sunway area. Anyone with recommendations?
Special thanks to David and Botak (I don't know why Desmond asked me to call him that! Sorry!) who was gracious enough to extend their hospitality to me during my stay. Thanks so much and I hope that we meet again! Nice meeting you guys! :) Thanks for Duncan for being willing to fetch me all the way from Bandar Utama to Sunway where I stayed during my 3 days stay. Nice meeting Justin Ong, Cheryl and Ashley as well! :) Thanks to Angelus for fetching Ivan, Dinie and I all the way to Pudu just to get bus tickets back and fetch us on that day itself so we can get there on time despite the massive jam! When you come down to Penang, I will definitely treat you something nice! :)
At the moment, my mind is actually rather blank. I don't know where to start. I guess I will just talk a little bit about my KL trip before moving on to the current happenings in my life. After we reached KL, Desmond fetched me over to TDDI (Seriously, I am not so sure about the initials but I think that's the name of the area) where Duncan was waiting with Justin Ong, Cheryl and Ashley in a German pub. Its apparently quite well known in the area. I loved the garlic bread! Its so soft and buttery and the special sauce that comes along with it is simply heavenly! For someone who only ate early in the morning, I definitely jumped at the sight of food! Haha! Duncan was semi-drunk already when I met him. Apparently he had been drinking there since 7pm while waiting for me to arrive! I am so so sorry, Duncan! Drove his Proton Persona to where I will be staying and surprisingly, the car is very stable and it has good acceleration. I am definitely recommending this car to some of my friends who are looking to buy one!
The next day is my dearest Papa-sama's birthday (18.06.2009). Happy Birthday, my dear Papa-sama! I know I wished you on the day itself but I am wishing you again. Hehe! Happy 26th Birthday! You are getting old already! But Bebe-chan still sayang you! *hugs* May this birthday help calm your mind and wash your problems away. Bebe-chan wish you good luck in all your future undertakings and hope that Papa-sama will continue fighting for what Papa-sama wants most. Gambatte deshou! Bebe-chan will always support Papa-sama! Happy Birthday! When Papa-sama come back to Malaysia, Bebe-chan will give you your gift and also get you a birthday cake.

[An old picture of us together: Papa-sama old already! But still cute coz can "cubit" your cheeks! Hehe!]
I basically just spent my trip in KL shopping for a gift for my younger bro's birthday (21st of May). It was long overdued due to my constant assignments and final exams. I got him some Yu-Gi-Oh! booster packs which costs me a bomb but is just so worth it coz when I gave it to him, his smile was able to take away the burning feeling in my purse. Haha! I love you my little bro and I hope that you study hard to be a good adult. You probably wouldn't be able to read this but just want to wish you regardless.
After getting bus tickets for our ride the next day, Angelus, Kev, Ivan, Dinie and I made our way to Sungei Wang arcade in hope of finding an arcade version of Street Fighter 4. We were deadly dissapointed. I thought Sungei Wang would at least house it. Unfortunately, they did not. We were searching for it high and low but we just couldn't find it. We also tried our luck in Times Square but there isn't any available as well. Sigh. Anyone knows which arcade in Penang or KL houses Street Fighter 4? I want to play the game in the arcade so badly!
Lately, I became quite addicted to Street Fighter 4. I whole heartedly blame SAM-KAICHOU, IVAN and DINIE for causing this! *cries in the corner of the room* I used to be such an innocent person. Now, my whole mind keep thinking of Street Fighter 4 only. Sob sob. They keep showing me videos of really pro players such as Daigo (World Number 1 Ryu user), Joe (His C.Viper is just damn GAY!), Mago (Very pro Sagat player) and Evildrakefang (His Cammy is considered pretty godlike!). Hmmm...come to think of it, its a coincidence that all these players play characters that Sam, Ivan, Dinie and I use. Sam specializes in his "Teknik-teknik Perempuan Keji" C.Viper, Dinie with his "Focus-Cancel-Ultimate" Ryu, Ivan with his "Epic" Sagat and I with my "Can Only Play Under Pressure" Cammy.

I actually came back early from KL just to join the Street Fighter 4 tournament held in Queensbay Mall, Penang. Thank you Jaysen for telling me about it during the Gurney Plaza Street Fighter 4 tournament! I appreciate the information so much! Also thanks to Clement from Sony, Queensbay Mall for welcoming us and for the pictures and to all the other supportive Sony staff, a big thank you! Jaysen had to remind me that I fell in the Sony center a week ago (Read my previous post) but he was concerned if I injured myself. Don't worry. Just a few bruises here and there with no broken bones! Hehe!
I will just move on to the tournament details. There are two tournaments, the first is the main one where you can win a PSP as a grand prize, a mp4 player as the runner-up prize and a mp3 player for the second runner-up. The other tournament is the mini tournament where you win exclusive, limited-edition Sony merchandizes. The four of us (Sam, Ivan, Dinie and I) entered both tournaments. Credits to Ivan's camera (Since Dinie was the one taking most of the pictures! Haha!), Dinie and Clement for the pictures. You can check them out in my Facebook account as well.

[The tournament chart. According to Clement, the placings are randomly picked. We just checked our names and thanked god that we never go against each other in any of the earlier matches]

[The tournament rules and regulations. It differs slightly fromt he tournament rules in the Gurney Plaza tournament. Instead of the best of 3 as before, now is the best of 5. There is also a time limit of 99 seconds whereas the Gurney Plaza tournament has infinite time. I prefer this set of rules though. Its definitely more balanced]
The first player got a by (Hey! No fair!) and since I was the third player in the list, I became the first player to "open ceremony". My first opponent was by right one of my toughest opponent. He played a very good Sagat. I think I won just by luck! Haha! Damn lucky I guess. His Sagat was very offensive and my beloved Cammy had to suffer two rounds of losses before I can beat his ass.

[Me setting up the configurations since I am the first contestant of the day]
[Front view of us. Look at the pretty girl with long hair behind us together with her brother in the orange shirt. Her name is Christine and she plays a FREAKING GOOD CAMMY! I didn't get a chance to fight against her though. Haha! I am so happy coz everyone was rooting for both of us since both of us were the only female contestants and both of us use Cammy as well. If you ever read this post, do feel free to contact me. I am interested to keep in touch with you!]
After few more matches, its Sam's turn. He lost to a very good Ryu who eventually ended up in third place of the entire tournament.
[Sam with his "gay" purple shirt. Haha! I was teasing him about the colour when he stepped into my car that day. Hehe!]
Next was Dinie vs. H2N2. Dinie was infected by the virus till cannot play and unfortunately, he lost. Goodness, Dinie! Why lar you go and kena his AOE H2N2 Retard Virus? Never mind. You bashed him up later. Haha! (I will explain more about H2N2 later)
Ivan got a by on his first round as well. See lar! Wish for it and you will get it! He was hoping that he got a by on the first round and he really got it! The power of words is really powerful! Haha!
The next round was me against the first player who got a by. He was using Abel. An average Abel. He is a really nice guy in person. Haha! I made friends with him and his friends (who happened to be the third place Ryu in the tournament). They are really nice people and I am looking forward to meeting you guys again!
Ivan fought with a Ken who seemed to be a rather lost cause simply because Ivan totally forgotten about him. Haha! Pity him lar, Ivan. He kena bully kao kao from you already.

[The super cute and super pro Cammy player, Christine. If you happen to see this picture, do msg me. Lets be friends! Hehe! Thanks for the support from you and your bro during my matches!]
My third round was against the runner-up of the competition, Jason Sim, who used Zangief. Damn was his Zangief GAY! His catches were very precise and his timing was nice as well. He was good player and I didn't mind losing to him. Ivan lost in the third round as well against a the champion of the tournament, Chew Peng Chun who used Blanka.
The finals was between Blanka and Zangief. Blanka used "hit-and-run" techniques to win against Zangief.

[The second runner-up, Lim Aik Chuan who played a nice Ryu. Pleasant meeting you! He is a friendly and nice person!]

[The runner-up, Jason Sim who played Zangief. Why are you sticking out a little of your tongue for, Jaysen? Hehe!]

[The champion, Chew Peng Chun who played Blanka. He was very supportive of me and he even told me that my Cammy could beat his Blanka with a little bit more precise timing and training! I am flattered! Thanks so much for your support!]

[The champion and runner-up together. Good sportsmanship!]
Next was the mini tournament. I won the third place in this tournament and won a really nice notebook(Literary a notebook. I so wished it was a Vaio notebook as well! Haha!). I had to fight Ivan who kicked my ass with his Sagat (Sob sob!). It was a good fight though with both of us winning two matches each. He was a much better and experienced player though! Haha! Nice match! Dinie went up against Ivan in the finals to win a cap for the runner-up. Ivan walked away as champion with the bag he wanted so badly. Haha! Congrats!
[My fight against Ivan]
[Dinie "lanci" face after beating KY. Haha!]
[Alvin fight with H2N2. Alvin is the one in green. H2N2 is the other one. We called him H2N2 because everything he touches seems to be destructive. He shoke Alvin's hand and Alvin couldn't even think! Just randomly picked a character he was not good in and played. Haha! Another nickname for him is Retard because he really likes to talk cock! Goodness gracious! If you are a noob and like to talk cock, please don't say it loudly! He was annoying everyone when he brought out his super "lanci" attitude. I straight away shot him down in public until he has no face already. Haha! Serve you right, RETARD!]
[Me with my notebook. I am so loving it!]
[Dinie with his cap. He seems unhappy:( ]
[Ivan with his bag. Don't know why he was looking like this rock star in this pic. Haha!]

[The mini-tournament winners and contestants]
Next are random shots:
[Sam lazing on his mattress. He looks like a kid, right? Haha! Budak Kecil!]
[Ivan and I training before the tournament. Its more like Ivan was bashing me non-stop than training though! Hehe! Kidding, Ivan, kidding!!!!!]

[Why is my hand and Sam's in the same position? Haha! But this pic just looks cute for a reason! Everyone looked happy!]

[One of the random matches]

[Alvin taking random sniping shots. What are you aiming at, dude?]

[Watching a match]

[My match against Ivan]

[Alvin caught red handed taking Pantsu shots! Kyah!]
[I just love this shot! In case you guys were wondering, its my hand and Ivan's. Credits to Dinie for this AWESOME shot:)]
Overall, it was a really tiring weekend but I enjoyed it so much! Sam, Dinie and Ivan made really good company. Thank you once again for the great company! If there are any other tournaments, I would let you guys know! Looking forward to seeing you guys again the next time I am going down to KL. Better free your time for me! Haha!
Until the next update, thanks for staying with me till this very sentence. Hope that you guys will continue supporting me! Muaks!
